Baroque to Modern | 2012

The design of this CD was commissioned to me in 2012 by Babak Chamanara, head and director of Beethoven Publishing Co. in Tehran, Iran.

I listened to all its tracks, and according to the atmosphere of the music as well as the title of the CD, I decided to do the illustration. Using a combination of traditional motifs and elements, along with typography and various sections and borders, I designed it as close as possible to the concept of the CD title and its musical type.

The design of this CD Cover won first place in the Roudaki Festival in Tehran.

Ayeh | 2015

The design of this CD was commissioned to me in 2012 by Babak Chamanara, head and director of Beethoven Publishing Co. in Tehran, Iran.

Due to the sad, vague, and gloomy space of the CD music, I used one of my photos that I had taken before.

And considering the use of traditional and percussion instruments, I tried to show the feeling of that space by type, color, and frames.

Under the Rain | 2013

The design of this CD was commissioned to me in 2012 by Babak Chamanara, head and director of Beethoven Publishing Co. in Tehran, Iran.

The music of this CD was wholly traditional and non-verbal music. At the same time, musical simplicity had a somber space.

According to the title of the CD, I chose the autumn and rain image and used the traditional space in typography and frames and graphic elements to show that it is classic.

Let Make the Earth Peaceful | 2013

The design of this CD was commissioned to me in 2012 by Babak Chamanara, head and director of Beethoven Publishing Co. in Tehran, Iran.

This non-verbal CD had minimal space. Also, considering the title’s concept and the music atmosphere, I decided to use the photo.

I had previously taken photos of the bright sun on a snowy day in Winter, and it had an erotic atmosphere.

But due to the laws of Iran and the censorship that exists in my country, I had no hope of displaying these photos in large size as well as the exhibition. So, I decided to use these photos, which seemed very much in tune with the music of this CD, in small dimensions, and try to print them.

Fortunately, the design was approved and avoided censorship, and I managed to design this CD.
